Leanne Marshall - Fall 2014
Project Runway Season 5 Champion, Leanne Marshall, presented her Fall 2014 Collection on Sunday, February 9th and BPR Field Reporter, Jennifer Mara sends us this report. Thanks Jen!
Leanne Marshall showed Sunday at the Helen Mills event space in Manhattan. If you ask me she has graduated beyond this small space that barely fit her MANY supporters.
It was a very melodic show with hues of baby pink and grey but with all of the classic "Marshall touches" ...yes petals were present! There was wedding wear along with some fun and whimsical outfits.
We did see some of our favorite people...Suede! (an avid Leanne supporter) He told me he is in over four thousand stores now! The jacket he is wearing is one of his designs.
It was a wonderful show - Thank you Leanne!

BPR at Leanne Marshall S/S 2014 Fashion Show

Project Runway Season 5 winner, Leanne Marshall, presented her Spring 2014 Collection on September 7th at the Helen Mills Event Space.
Leanne's Collection was lovely, featuring bright hot pink silk with touches of lavender, a black and white toile and of course, bridal whites.
Her signature "petals and waves" were evident in many of the designs, looking fresh and modern.
Her models were especially lovely in a bright pink lipstick custom blended by Aveda - a sponsor of the show.
Leanne was inspired by "My Fair Lady" and created a modern ladylike collection as effortless as a spring breeze.
Right now, Leanne's collection is created completely by hand in her studio.
In the near future she has plans to release a diffusion brand, "LM" which will feature organic fabrics and a lower price point.
It was fun to see so many Project Runway alums at the show.

Leanne Marshall Fall 2013
Leanne Marshall held a noon fashion show today for her Fall 2013 collection. She has taken a break from her recent bridal work to "do things I want to do". Inspired by mushrooms, these beautiful gowns and dresses showed cohesion in their pleating and linings. Using a simple color palette, the focus was on texture and dimension through the use of fray and lace. It was really nice to see Leanne elevate her legendary petals into something just as unique. Organic fabric as always and an organic natural beauty. Thanks, Leanne!

BPR at Leanne Marshall Spring 2013
Project Runway Season 5 winner, Leanne Marshall presented a gorgeous Spring 2013 collection on Saturday, September 8th.
The Scarlett and I loved her color palette of cream, green and lavender and when she told us she was inspired by cabbages, we loved it even more.
