Project Runway All-Stars Season 4 Cast Announced

Project Runway All Stars Season 4 premieres October 30th on Lifetime.

The cast includes two past winners, Michelle Lesniak and Dmitry Sholokhov.

Also competing are Season Four's Chris March, Season Seven's Jay Sario,  and for the third time, Kate Pankoke.

From Season Ten, Fabio Costa, Gunnar Deatherage, and Sonjia Williams.

From Season Eleven, Samantha Black, Benjamin Mach and Patricia Michaels.

From Season Twelve, Helen Castillo, Justin LeBlanc, and Alexandria von Bromssen.

A New Interview with Project Runway Season 10 Champion Dmitry Sholokhov

 Kendra L. Saunders had the pleasure of chatting with Dmitry about his Lord & Taylor line, his fans, his plans for the future and koala bears, among other things. 

 Highlights: 

  Q: Is there something your fans could do at this point to help you? 

 A: Well, I think at this point, I’m so grateful to have fans. I’ve been getting all of this fanmail from all over the world…. It’s already a huge help, it gives me strength and inspires me. And I think it’s plenty enough. But if you want to be a really good fan, you can go buy my dress! 

 Q: Now you’ve spoken about being sort of on your own at this point in the fashion business and looking for investors. Can you tell us a little more about that? 

 A: Well, I think I want to start with- fashion is a serious business. And I’m in a stage of my life where I’m building it. I have all these amazing opportunities but those opportunities have to be taken to the next level. And at this point I’m looking for the right partnership that would let me be myself but at the same time, create a strong base for a successful business…. To put on a great show and make people happy, it’s one thing, but it has to be taken to the next level. 

 Q: Of course, we don’t expect to see you waltzing around in one of your dresses, but do you make clothes for yourself as well? 

 A: Of course I do. Whenever I’ve done collections before Project Runway, when I was working for different brands, I’ve done some clothing for myself as well. Whatever I’m wearing, if it’s not mine, it’s always altered for me... My goal is, after the women’s collection and I’m on a roll, I’m planning to start a men’s collection as well. For me, it’s always so hard to find things for myself, even for the fit issue. Plus I have a lot of male fans who are asking me all the time, when are you going to start a men’s line? It’s a very exciting opportunity. 

 Q: If you had to babysit someone’s pet koala or their pet dragon, which would you choose? 

 A: Probably koala. It sounds softer, and I’m kinda more on the softer side.

Dmitry Sholokhov Collection Now Available at Lord and Taylor

Part of the prize package for Project Runway Season 10 Champion, Dmitry Sholokhov was, of course, a "Capsule Collection" to be sold exclusively at "select" Lord and Taylor stores and online.

The collection has arrived and Lord and Taylor held an event today at their flagship store in New York City to celebrate.

Dmitry Sholokhov Collection Available at Lord & Taylor Stores March 30

Project Runway Season 10 Champion, Dmitry Sholokhov, has created a collection of eight cocktail and evening dresses exclusively for Lord & Taylor.  The dresses retail for $259 - $329 and will be available in select Lord & Taylor stores and on lordandtaylor.com beginning March 30th.

In addition, Sholokhov will make a personal appearance at Lord & Taylor's Fifth Avenue store on Thursday, April 4th from 6-8pm to meet with customers and sign sketches of his designs.

Project Runway Season 10 Champion, Dmitry Sholokhov talks about his experience on the show.

A highlight:  

BPR: Dmitry, our readers chose you as their favorite and we also felt you should have won the Avant Garde, the Rockettes, the HP, the Lord & Taylor and the Marie-Claire challenges. 

DS: That is so exciting! Thank you! 

BPR: Did you feel like an underdog going in to the finale? 

DS: For most of the season, I felt like I was ignored by the judges, so, I didn't really get the attention that I might have deserved, but of course I got my revenge in the end. 

BPR: We didn't see the model casting - what do you look for in a model? 

DS: For this particular show, since we were so rushed, I was looking for proportions. I needed her to fit into the dress. That was major. Then of course, strong faces. Strong but feminine.
